Take your Standard (Intermediate) First Aid – CPR Level C & AED course in this two-day training course with us. The title of “standard” and “intermediate” is inter-changeable at this time. A full shift to the “intermediate” title will take place by the end of 2024. Participants will engage in hands-on training and learn first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.

CANADIAN RED CROSS (STANDARD) & ST. JOHN AMBULANCE (INTERMEDIATE) ARE AVAILABLE!

DESIGNED FOR

Individuals who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Individuals who work in the field or in the energy sector are required to have this full Standard (Intermediate) level ticket.

NOTE: A 1-day Recertification option exists for this training if your current ticket has yet to expire. Please see that webpage for details.  

The recertification option is not to be confused with the 1-day Emergency (Basic) First Aid – CPR Level C & AED course is also available for those who do not require the full Standard level course. The Emergency (Basic) level is Day 1 of the full 2-day course.

This course meets the legislation requirements set for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. 

Completion

Upon successful completion, students will have the ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps; 100% attendance and participation; 75% minimum passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.
