Recertify your Standard (Intermediate) First Aid – CPR Level C & AED ticket before or on your expiry date in this 1-day recertification course. The title of “standard” and “intermediate” is inter-changeable at this time. A full shift to the “intermediate” title will take place by the end of 2024. Participants will engage in hands-on training and learn first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.
Individuals who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Individuals who work in the field or in the energy sector are required to have this full Standard (Intermediate) level ticket.
This course meets the legislation requirements set for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Participants must present their valid, unexpired Standard First Aid – CPR Level C & AED ticket at sign-in to ensure they qualify for this 1-day recertification option.
Upon successful completion, students will have the ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps; 100% attendance and participation; 75% minimum passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles.
