Telehandler Training

The students will review safety regulations & standards as well as the fundamentals and the field hazard identification.  They will also do a pre-trip inspection, job safety analysis and learn the safe operations of a Telehandler. In addition, they will review the principles of balance and stability and how to properly start and shut down the machine.  There will be a discussion on operating on slopes and how to safely operate load handling.

Operator safety training is a key component that is required for all individuals who use and operate a telehandler. Ensuring that you are properly trained to use the equipment will reduce the risk of injury to yourself and fellow employees.

Through this training course, you will learn a basic understanding of the safety requirements that are required when you operate a telehandler, and you will understand the importance of your role in maintaining safe working conditions. It is important that you are aware of the basic safe operations, and the specific safe operations for the telehandler that you will be using, as not all telehandlers are the same. This will allow you to reduce the risk of any product, property, or injury occurring at your workplace.
