This course will allow participants to understand the use of fall protection, as it relates to working at heights. Various fall protection options exist, this course identifies which options may best meet the participant’s needs, and give the tools and knowledge to work at height safely.
NOTE: At this time, this course is only offered as an offsite training – at your location.
Workers who need basic fall protection training to work only within the setting of an aerial work platform. For this reason, we only offer this training offsite, as our in-house courses often contain workers requiring fall protection training for a wide variety of reasons, not just aerial lifts.
Participants will engage in hands-on training activities, including inspecting, fitting, adjusting and connecting fall protection systems and components. Following this course, students will have the ability to assess and evaluate fall arrest systems, and to develop and implement fall protection plans.
Upon successful completion of the written exam (with a minimum score of 70%), you will receive a temporary Certificate of Completion. The permanent certificate will be mailed to your provided mailing address (directly from 3M in Airdrie) within 30-days of course completion.

Christina did an amazing job on the first aid course. Funny and thorough, I learned more in this course than than I ever have in a first aid course. Her nursing background was helpful in explaining the why of first aid. Well done!Posted on Kurt PierogTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very good experience. Did Intermediate First Aid with Christina Petersen as my instructor and she was awesome. Very pleasant and extremely funny. Excellent technique and knowledge. Best first aid class ive done in decades. She does draw wierd though... like her bumblebee was perfectly adequate, but when she tried to draw hand it did kind of make me question how they let her out of kindergarten with those drawing skills.Posted on Anthony ChouinardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
