Fire Extinguisher Training (FEHM Compliant)

Upon the completion of this course, participants will understand the basic techniques required to effectively utilize a 30 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher in a ‘live’ fire application and will understand the basics of Fire & Explosion Hazard Management (FEHM) – formerly the IRP-18 distinction.

This course includes a practical component where students are required to extinguish a live fire with a 30 lb. dry chemical extinguisher at increasing levels of difficulty.

IMPORTANT: Fire-retardant clothing/coveralls and full PPE are required – gloves, eye protection, helmet, boots, etc.

COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of the practical component and the written exam with a minimum score of 70%, you will receive a permanent Certificate of Completion.
